In honor of Bill Trotman

Bill Trotman, a native of Tampa, Florida, was born to entrepreneurial-minded parents where he developed a love for his community and a love for being a business owner. In 2007, he was introduced to board members of the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, cultivated a partnership, and introduced a financial workshop for the attendees of the festival. Bill eventually joined the Festival’s Board of Directors where he grew the Business and Financial Seminar from a one-man show to a seminar series and Signature Festival event that continues on today.

Privately, in March of 2020, Bill Trotman succumbed to his battle with cancer. The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival and his TD Bank Family will forever be grateful for his contributions and will continue to honor his legacy. Rest in Peace Bill Trotman!
