The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival (TBBHF/The Festival) is an annual event that features speakers, musicians, artists, poets and craftspeople locally and nationally. The festival traditionally begins the week-end before the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday and extends through the month of April. It’s programming promotes education, economic empowerment, health and wellness. This event strives to increase experiences for the entire community.
Mission
The purpose of the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, Inc. is to educate, collaborate, and celebrate art and history through experiences that inspire and bring all people together.

Annual Festival
The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival (TBBHF) is Southwest Florida’s premier destination of events organized by the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, a 501 c3, Florida non-profit corporation. This annual, family friendly experience focuses on education, health and wellness, music, economic and social empowerment and the arts. The Fest@Tampa Bay, which takes place in April and features local and nationally, recognized musicians, artists, poets, and craftspeople.
