2020 Business Pitch Competition
The Financial Seminar is a series of FREE professional business seminars hosted by the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival and the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center .
The series takes place throughout the summer and fall months with the larger seminar taking place during the annual Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival in January. The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Entrepreneur Advisory Board, are comprised of local professional business owners who encompass a vast amount of knowledge and skills to help you better your business.

Winner will receive a prize of $1,000 plus FREE Office Space for 1 year at 5508 Co-working & Collaboration Exchange!
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the competition is to support the development of ventures from ideation to commercialization. This contest reflects the commitment of the Tampa Hillsborough Action Plan, Inc. and the Tampa Black Heritage Festival to support innovation and entrepreneurship for economic prosperity in Hillsborough County specifically East Tampa.
- Applications Open: November 1, 2019
- Application Deadline (Extended): December 20, 2019 at 5pm
- Finalists Announced: December 18, 2019
- Live Pitch Finale: January 10, 2020
The final live pitch will be held at THAP 5508 campus in Tampa (5508 N. 50th Street Tampa, FL 33610).
Finalists must be available to present their idea in person.
